PUMPKIN WALK REMINDER PUMPKIN WALK REMINDER: 1st Annual Pumpkin Walk - Tonight - Octoer 20th @ 6:30 pm at the DeRuyter Fairgrounds.  $1.00 Admission. Please park at the school - Shuttle available from school to fairgrounds. Walk the track - see the lit pumpkins that all DCS students carved. Newsletter Survey Newsletter Survey: Newsletter Survey   In an effort to keep our costs as low as possible, the District adopted a procedure several years ago to mail the newsletter every other month, rather than monthly.  The postage cost of mailing each newsletter is approximately $175.00 each issue – this is approximately $1,050 for the year.  The printing cost for each newsletter is approximately $830 each issue ($4,980 per year).  This brings the total cost of printing and mailing the 6 issues of the newsletter to approximately $6,030 per year.   We are trying to continue to cut costs.  The Board has asked us to reach out to the community by asking how the community would like to receive the newsletter – “Would you rather receive the newsletter by mail, or view ... more >>
